Pam Baer is a San Francisco-based community leader and philanthropist. Pamela Baer was born in Texas, grew up in New York City, and has had careers on Wall Street and as an entrepreneur. Pam now spends her time working with the vulnerable populations of San Francisco’s Tenderloin neighborhood. Through organizations like At The Crossroads (ATC) and Glide Memorial Church to help provide them with health care services, educational opportunities, arts programs, housing assistance and more.
Pam Baer also focuses on projects relating to social well-being for all communities around the globe through Partners In Health – this includes rebuilding Haiti after the earthquake that devastated it in 2010. Pam Baer For Goodness Sake raised over $275,000 in donations to various nonprofits across the San Francisco Bay Area.
Pamela Baer was born in Texas, where she attended the University of Texas at Austin. After graduating with her marketing and finance degree, Pam moved to New York City at age 22 to begin working as an analyst at Goldman Sachs & Co., one of America’s leading investment firms over the next century by providing mergers and acquisitions advice, securities.
Pamela Baer holds many trustees and board positions for private and public organizations that focus on health care, arts and culture, social services, and education. The notable ones are Partners In Health (President), Academy of Art University (Trustee), American Conservatory Theater (Board) and The Crossroads (Board Member). Pam was named as lifetime director of the San Francisco General Hospital Foundation. She’s a founder’s circle member of Every Mother Counts, helping make pregnancy and childbirth safe for mothers everywhere. She is also an advisory board member of Nest, an organization dedicated to women artisans promoting their well-being and cultural preservation.
