Andrew Alexander has never been one to shrink from a challenge but is this how he has been able to win all these awards over the years? Well, he doesn’t really think it’s his place to say. He was born in the UK but raised in the back streets of Toronto where he was quick to discover his affinity for the world of comedy. He did well in school which is how he had his choice of any college & in the end, decided to matriculate at Ryerson. He knew it would be a tough road to that stage but was prepared to deal with whatever problems might come his way. So he worked hard and, before long, was able to earn his BA in the spring of 67. When he had concluded his academic career, he went on to work for a local paper for a few years. This gradually led him to the career path he is on now. He bought out the second act & began preparing comedy shows for all to see. This brought him into the orbit of some of the most famous comedians of our time like Gilda Radner. He was not sure where this path would take him but was looking forward to finding out. He went on to run the second city until selling it off a year ago but has since gone on to win numerous accolades including two emmys. He is proud of all he has accomplished in his career.
